See What Develops
September 19th, 2009I developed a couple of rolls of photos I took early this Summer, and seeing them is kind of a closing to my time in Tyler. It almost makes me miss our little apartment and our hummingbird feeder that only fed bees. It definitely makes me miss the trip I took to Austin with my mom, which is where I took most of the photos I developed. But I am very excited for Fall, soon to be here, and am very much enjoying my stay in Lubbock!

Our friend gave us this hot air balloon bird feeder as a apartment warming gift. We never saw any hummingbirds, but the glass made pretty light designs in our bedroom in the afternoon.

When me and my mom were in Austin we stayed at the Driskill. The hotel itself was lovely, but the smell, oh my gosh… best smelling place I’ve ever been in my life. If they made a candle that smelled like the Driskill they would make a fortune.

Everything at the hotel was soft and comfy.

If you had looked at the patio of our old apartment you would think we were chain smokers. Nope, we were just lazy. The matches and ashes accumulated for a year before they finally got dumped.

While in Austin me and my mom went to the capitol building. It was pretty and all, but the thing we were obsessed with was the door hinges. They were super detailed for being such a small piece of decor.

If you’ve ever been to Austin, you know there are guitars all over the main tourist areas painted in different colors. This one was definitely my favorite! Last time I was there I didn’t see this one, and I was totally drawn to it. I’d love to design an outfit based on this guitar.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
